UEFA Clears Way For An All-English Europa-Cup Final, Separates Arsenal And Manchester United Until Final In Poland

An all-English Europa League final is now a remote possibility as Union of European Football Associations’ (UEFA) pairings for the quarter final and semi final matches of Europe’s second-tier cup,Europa Cup were released today. Well if Arsenal and Manchester United play their cards right in the latter stages of the competition then that prospect will be realised hundred percent.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United have drawn competition debutants Granada in the quarter-finals, while Arsenal will go head-to-head with Slavia Prague and both English teams by the pairings will avoid each others in the semi finals.

United booked their last-eight spot of the competition with a 2-1 aggregate victory over AC Milan, thanks to Paul Pogba’s winning goal in the second leg at the San Siro on Thursday night.
The Red Devils are the current favourites to win the competition they last lifted in 2017.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s men advanced at Olympiakos’ expense (3-2 on aggregate) despite being on the wrong end of a 1-0 defeat against the Greek side at the Emirates on the same night
