
Justice For MoBhad Protest Rocks Lagos, Ogun, Delta States, Sanwo-Olu Invites DSS To Join Investigation, As Ekiti Governor Wants Music Star’s Mysterious Death Unraveled
The last may not have been heard about the mysterious death of young musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad, as some youths stormed the Panseke area of Abeokuta, Ogun State to protest his demise on Tuesday.

The youths who wore black attires symbolising mourning gathered in their numbers at the skating ground arena in Abeokuta carrying placards with inscriptions like #JusticeForMohbad, #Who off Light among others.
Some days ago, some youths flooded some streets in Ikorodu, Lagos to protest Mohbad’s death, as they were seen holding placards with: “We no go gree, justice for Mohbad.”
Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died at last Tuesday the age of 27.
Also, some youths are still protesting in Lagos around Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) area, sources said.
In the same vein, youths gathered at Effurun Road in Warri Delta State on Tuesday, to demand justice for Mohbad.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has today invited the Department of Security Services to join the probe of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
This was contained in a statement signed by Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, on Tuesday.
Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records, died last Tuesday at the age of 27.
The state government also commiserated with the family and fans of the former Marlian Records signee.

In addition to the police special investigative team in Lagos to probe the death of Mohbad, “Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has invited the DSS to join the investigation and widen the dragnet with inter-agency collaboration and use of best-in-class technology to unearth the truth.
“Mr. Sanwo-Olu has directed that all those who may have played any role whatsoever in any event leading to the death of MohBad be made to face the law after a thorough investigation.
“Consequently DSS has also joined the investigation so as to get justice for the youngster, his family and teeming fans,” it added.
The state government pleaded with all those who may have vital information that may assist the investigation process to avail the investigating team of such.
“Government also appeals to the investigating team to guarantee the confidentiality and protection of all witnesses who may come forward with vital information or indicative evidence that may assist the process,” it added.
The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has also urged police authorities to unravel the mysteries surrounding the death of fast rising music star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba ( aka Mohbad )
The Governor, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, said the minimum the country owes the deceased and his family is justice, which he said could only come through a thorough investigation of the circumstances leading to his death as well as various revelations that came out thereafter.
Governor Oyebanji spoke on Tuesday just as Ekiti youths plan to hold a procession in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital to mourn the late Singer and demand justice for him.
Describing Mohbad as a talented singer, who at 27 had already carved a niche for himself in the entertainment world with several hit songs to his credit, Governor Oyebanji said the death of the singer at the peak of his career and the circumstances surrounding it are highly regrettable.
While extending condolences to members of the late singer’s immediate and extended families as well as his fans worldwide, the Ekiti State Governor urged the Nigeria Police to investigate the death and ensure that justice is done.
“Our condolences to the family and fans of the late singer, Mohbad. We feel their pains at this crucial moment and join other well- meaning Nigerians to demand a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to his death”, the statement added.
