Jigawa state five man PDP caretaker committee under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Umar Mungadi has uphold decision adopted by the CWC of the PDP suspending its earlier decision of appointing 27 local government caretaker committee pending when elections could hold.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s secretariat, the state caretaker Chairman of the PDP Ambassador Umar Mungadi confirmed that the affirmation didnt in any way affects his leadership.
“As far as I am concern, our mission to Jigawa,was among other’s to resolve any impending issues imicable to the growth and development of our party in Jigawa state, as well to organize a credible election’s of new exco in Jigawa State”
Mungadi defended their actions as saying there isn’t any violations of the constitution of our great party over our recent actions in appointing the caretaker chairmen’s in all the 27 LGA’s across Jigawa State.
It could be recalled that prior to the pronouncement of the appointment of the 27 LG A caretaker chairmen pending to the substansive elections, the Aminu Ringim factions of the PDP condemned such actions on ground that they were not informed officially, nor include their members in the exercise.
Addressing a press conference in Dutse, Mal Aminu Ringim stated before we have the confidence that the jigawa state caretaker committee sent by the National Working Committee of the PDP will be fair to both warring parties, only to found, the committee was bias and favoured only lamido led wing if the party, situation which he insist we must have to fought and rejected.
