Former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Ladoja, Sunday, played host to three serving governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his Ondo Street, Ibadan residence.
The governors are Abubakar Badaru, Atiku Bagudu and Mai Buni of Jigawa, Kebbi and Yobe states respectively.
Also with them was a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole.
They were ushered into his residence by APC Senator, AbdulFatai Buhari, Oloye Sharafadeen Alli, Hon. Bimbo Adepoju, and others.
Though details of what they discussed were still sketchy as at last night but it was gathered that the meeting was in a bid to lure the highly influential Oyo politician to the ruling APC.
The meeting which took place behind closed doors, held between 1:35 and 2:29 pm.
It could be recalled that the party had lost the state to the PDP in the 2019 governorship election after the APC had ruled for 8 years.
The visitors and their host however, declined comments after the meeting
