Why I killed Super TV CEO Michael Usifo – UNILAG 300 level student reveals details

The alleged killer of the CEO Of Super TV, Micheal Usifo has told journalists how the tragic series of incidents that led to the death of her late lover unfolded.

Speaking with journalists today at the Lagos State police command, 21-year-old Chidinma explained that She killed Usifo during an argument which devolved into violence.

The 300 level student of the University of Lagos, who was arrested shortly after the murder of the media personality, explained that she met Usifo four months ago through her friends who introduced her to him.

She said ever since they met and became friends, they had gone out together several times and the last one which led to death was one of their moments.

She explained that they normally have fun together, do drugs together and, on the fateful day, they were smoking together at the apartment before things took a dangerous turn.

According to her, Usifo tried to have sex with her which she resisted and it resulted in an argument that made the deceased to hit her head on the wall.

She said in retaliation, she picked a knife and stabbed him twice, leading to his death.

The state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, who confirmed that Chidinma is an undergraduate of the University of Lagos, added that she had confessed to committing the crime.

Odumosu said the owner of the rented apartment where the tragic incident took place had been arrested, while Ataga’s account had been blocked to prevent further withdrawals from it by those taking advantage of his untimely death to deplete the account.
